Altstadt – Old Town (part 2)

There are numerous little streets in Altstadt with all kinds of interesting shops, restaurants, galleries, breweries…

But there is also one resident of the Old Town which is a constant – little ship anchored near Rhinepromenade.

It’s beautiful, old fashioned and always posing for new tourists.

Besides this Dusseldorf attraction, of course amazing part of Altstadt that connects it with Rhinepromenade is Burgplatz.

This is a special square where all the important and creative events happen.

Wildpark as one of Dusseldorf attractions (part 7)

At the end of our tour through Wildpark Grafenberger Wald, to round up the trip and all amazing experience we had privilege to experience we can say few words about Waldschule or “Forest school“.

In a small, charming cottage, the Waldschule is located. There are all kinds of information you need to get to know more about wild animals around you, the ones you could see in the Wildpark. There are aquariums, terrariums with lizard and a mouse, prepared animals, skeletons and all sorts of mushrooms…

This is very educational and great for kids. You too, besides the children, can learn a lot in this “Forest school”.

Don’t hesitate to visit it.

And be sure to have fun while learning 🙂

Botanical garden of Dusseldorf (part 3)

Get ready for a long walk. You’ll need to be in shape, because when you get in the garden, you’ll stay for awhile.

There is a lovely path, then lots of grass, all kinds of bushes and plants properly labeled with precise Latin names.

Specially lovely and creative is a bee house – designed in a natural way. It’s like a luxury bee hotel 😉

You can see an artistic log, other path that leads to some plant picture exhibition where you can learn so much about different sorts of flora around the world.

Then again, there are everyone’s favorite geese and pond, sometimes visited by other adorable birds.

On the other side, next to greenhouse, there is amazing cactus section and we will write about it next time.

Enjoy in greenery till then 🙂
