Wildpark as one of Dusseldorf attractions (part 7)

At the end of our tour through Wildpark Grafenberger Wald, to round up the trip and all amazing experience we had privilege to experience we can say few words about Waldschule or “Forest school“.

In a small, charming cottage, the Waldschule is located. There are all kinds of information you need to get to know more about wild animals around you, the ones you could see in the Wildpark. There are aquariums, terrariums with lizard and a mouse, prepared animals, skeletons and all sorts of mushrooms…

This is very educational and great for kids. You too, besides the children, can learn a lot in this “Forest school”.

Don’t hesitate to visit it.

And be sure to have fun while learning 🙂

In Wildpark Grafenberger Wald there are numerous residents. Some are small, some are big.

Various species of animals, birds and insects are arranged in a vast area.

There is a wildcat or Wildkatze in German language.

Then there is a polecat or Iltis in German which is definitely adorable and very energetic. You can have lots of fun by watching its movements and actions.

Botanical garden of Dusseldorf (part 5)

Welcome to another walk in the Botanical garden of Dusseldorf.

Besides amazing Greenhouse – glass dome and its numerous plants, there are lots of other things to see, like famous Orangery, pond and of course large flock of geese.

And if you’re in good physical condition, don’t be shy, feel free to visit the whole garden. It’s huge.

Depending on what you like the most, you’ll find something to thrill you.

There is a great cactus family just outside of the greenhouse. Small ones, tall ones – but remember, all are dangerous ones 😉 Thorns…

Also there is aloe vera. More berries and pine trees.

Simply, this is a place where you should come back.
